The Vision

At Equip Church, our vision is centered on Ephesians 4, where we are called to equip the church to build up generations of believers. We see a future where individuals are empowered to grow in their faith, develop their gifts, and serve the world around them. By nurturing disciples and fostering spiritual growth, we can create a legacy that impacts not only this generation but many to come.

Our Strategy

We know everyone has untapped potential, and we aim to help you discover and unleash that potential. Our church is focused on empowering people to live with purpose, lead with valor, and make a lasting impact in their lives and communities.

To accomplish that goal, we partner with people on a shared journey of transformation: to be trained to think and live biblically, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Our Values

These values describe who we are as Equip Church. They communicate who God has called us to be and direct where we will go.

We Value Every Soul

We see your soul, not just your surface.

Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”

We Stand on the Authority of God’s Word

Everyone has a foundation.

Matthew 7:24-25 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."

Our Aspirational Values

These values describe the culture we aspire to achieve.

A Culture of Prayer

Prayer is the work of the church

Colossians 4:2 “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.”

A Culture of Excellence

God desires your best, not perfection.

Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. Serve the Lord Christ.”

A Culture of Discipleship

Build lives with eternity in mind.

Matthew 28:19–20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

A Culture of Holy Spirit Empowerment

We can't do it in our strength.

Zechariah 4:6 "So he said to me, 'This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty."

A Culture of Reverence & Fear Of The Lord

Honor god, build people up.

Acts 2:42–43 “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.”

A Culture of Teamwork

Serve together with love and joy.

Ephesians 4:16–17 “from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”

A Culture of Generosity

Generosity is our opportunity.

Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

We are a Spiritual Family

We're not like a family. We are family.

Ephesians 2:19-22 "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit."
